Researching encrypted LLM inference with Dr. Lawrence Lim, Professor Divy Agrawal, and Professor Amr El Abbadi.

  • Doubled the speed of encrypted matrix multiplication using the Complexification Optimization
  • Developed the first homomorphic transformer token picker
  • Building the first open-source homomorphically encrypted GPT-2 using OpenFHE and CKKS
  • Enhancing homomorphically encrypted BERT models using FidesLib

My Life Journey

Born in QingDao 青岛, China. My parents are from Wuhan 武汉 and Tianmen 倩门. Went to elementary school and early middle school in Beijing εŒ—δΊ¬. Then went to Gurnee, Illinois (suburb Chicago) for 7th grade's second semester. Then went to Rockville, Maryland (suburb Washington D.C.) for 8th grade. Finally, Cupertino, California for high school and now UCSB. California is where I found my passion for software engineering :)
